Marie Grassini is the grandmother of Society for Rational Dress designer and founder Corinne Grassini. "Nana" grew up in Minneapolis and then moved to Long Island where she raised four children and bought her first home for $11,000. Marie has always had a great love for sewing so when she packed up to move to California she was sure to bring with her all of her fabrics, patterns and trims: "I just love them so much, I can't let them go."

These days Nana likes reading biographies, walking around the lake and watching her family love and enjoy one another.
