Corinne Grassini is a California-born fashion designer
and the founder of Society for Rational Dress.
With a major in sociology, Grassini earned her degree from the University of Washington before going to design school in her early twenties. In 2002, at age 24 Grassini had already designed the first collection of her label Society for Rational Dress. She would later go back to school once more in order to hone her pattern making skills at the
prestigious Central St. Martins in London.
She launched Society for Rational Dress as a full ready to wear women's collection in 2007, and now sells to over 75 boutiques globally. In 2008 Grassini opened her studio to the public with an appointment only boutique titled The Reserve.
By 2011 Grassini set her sights on her love for the home, and all that makes a house a home including comfortable furniture, pillows,
bedding, and the like. Grassini's affection for a relaxed luxury sensibility, and a new modern vision of the good life has become the central focus behind the brand's future endeavors.
